Who we are

AI Cyber Compare ("we") runs aicybercompare.com and is responsible for the personal data described here. You can reach us only through the contact form. The site has no user accounts, no payments and no comments. You can read every page, use the fit finder and use the fact table without giving us any personal data.

What we collect

Contact form. When you send a message we receive your name, email address, the topic you choose and your message. If you send a copyright notice, we also receive the description of the work, the URL of the material, your statements and your electronic signature.

Hosting logs. The provider that hosts the site records technical data for each request, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. This is used to run and secure the site.

Browser storage. The site does not set cookies. It uses one local storage key, acc-finder-answers, to remember the fit finder answers on this device. It is set only when you change an answer, stays until you clear site data, and is never sent to us.

Google Fonts. The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. When fonts load, your browser sends Google your IP address and browser details.

No analytics or advertising. We run no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.

Legal basis

Under the GDPR and UK GDPR we rely on our legitimate interests to run and secure the site and to answer messages you send us. Where the law requires consent, we ask for it.

Who we share data with

We share data only with hosting and infrastructure providers acting for us, with the form delivery provider once the contact form is connected, and with authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

International transfers

Data may be processed outside your country with appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep data

We keep contact messages as long as we need them to handle your request, then delete them. Server logs are kept for a limited period set by the hosting provider.

Your rights

EU and UK. You can ask for access, correction, deletion or restriction of your data, object to processing, ask for portability, withdraw consent at any time and complain to a supervisory authority.

California. Under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA you can ask to know and delete the personal information we hold, ask us to correct it, and opt out of its sale or sharing, which we do not do. We will not discriminate against you for using these rights.

Other applicable laws. You can also exercise rights you have under other privacy laws that apply to you.

To use any of these rights, send a message through the contact form with the topic Privacy request.

Children

The site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
